The Roppongi store is usually open.
Very good food, just a bit small portion sizes even for Japanese standards. Just one udon will not get you full. So we added to our two Udon a mixed plate of Sushi (not overwhelming but good) and a very delicious eggplant and pork dish. For two people that was ok.
The noodle itself was good but the staff service was terrible: made mistakes in order, were not kind and helpful like they liked down to us. I used to like that place very much but don’t really want to visit there again these days.
Well what can I say, when in a place they immediately offer you extra or double extra noodle it's automatically one of my favorite ever! Amazing atmosphere, beautiful and cozy place, really authentic vibes, amazing ramen. Really really really good and tasty, big and satisfying portions. Staff was super and with the well known politeness. The area is really cute after your meal it's beautiful taking a walk around! Super fair price. Ultra recommended!
Very good meal. Left feeling very satisfied. The food is not mind blowing or life changing but are generally delicious. The service was good too so the over experience was pretty pleasing.
Servings here are huge. There are a ton of menu options— definitely recommend getting a salad to split, they’re large and very delicious.
Best Udon shopping in Tokyo in my opinion. Awaya crowded, thus you must avoid meal time. There are a lot of options and sometimes is hard to choose. Everything look delicious. I tried cold Udon this time and it was very good. The place looks fancy but the price is not high. Only beverage is high cost as usually in Tokyo.
Clean, spacious and best udon with various select
Excellent food and huge serves (for no extra charge order a double serving of noodles), this is one of my go to destinations in Roppongi when I'm meeting with friends. It is suitable for groups as they take bookings and have many private rooms over two floors. Udon is their specialty but they also make great sushi. I also recommend their salad which is full of interesting textures (beware it has raw egg at the bottom).
I loved this place so much that i went back three times! It's conveniently located along the main Roppongi stretch (and right next to a Don Quijote store!) - and while it does get crowded, the service is swift, and the portions are massive! Look out for their seasonal specials, where you can get some interesting items on the menu, but the regular menu is also pretty extensive. It's also dual-language, so solo tourists wary about language barriers need not worry!
Great quality udon; chewy and balanced flavor. Super big bowl, literally. Ingredients in the udon don't particular stand out, the udon is still the real deal and signature. Appetizers and side dishes are alright.
Best Udon place ever! They have so many different types of soup Udon. I tried 6 different udon but there is more I need to try! Love the environment and the mood in this restaurant. The bowl is huge but many female can finish it by herself. If you are worry about can’t finish it you can also ask the udon( noddles)to be half so you can enjoy the soup without been stuffed. They also make their own tofu so I recommend to try out their tofu dish FYI: For lunch only, you can rent a own private room on upstairs. I believe you have to reserve on the website but it’s great for big family ( lots of people)or babies!
Elegant space that includes booths, typical seats near the cooks, tatami mat rooms and a second floor with regular tables. The udon is quite good and has vegetarian (with egg) options. The price is not very high and also doesn't change at dinner time. Have fun with the giant spoons!
Amazing flavours and variety. I tried their traditional chicken udon. I liked the taste and the flavour. Though chopsticks was a pain but I managed well.Salmon sushi is worth trying
Great place to eat. The bowls are ginormous though.
Good food, great atmosphare, friendly staff.
The best noodles I've ever had! â¤ï¸
I tried the curry udon: good dish portion is generous. Service is fast (even if it’s pretty busy) and prices reasonable.
Portion is big. Their udon is quite smooth but too thick. I had the beef udon, soup base was a bit tasteless.
This is an institution for udon. I aint a big fan of udon, but a trip to Tsurutontan kindda change that. Ice water promptly served and ofcourse the food was delicious, comes in BIG portions. Special mention - the tofu - fought with my partner to eat it all. Also, you can get extra portions of noodles for no extra charge. Just have to tell them the desired portion size when ordering. Eating from the giant bowl itself with a ladle as a spoon is an experience on its own. Slurp away!
Curry Udon with Pork Cutlet is a must try! By default is one portion serving. You can add up to triple portion at no extra charge. However, no ordering of double or triple portion to share. It has to be one order per person.
Biggest and yummiest bowl of udon I've ever had! I ordered the curry udon with pork cutlet and it was really delicious! The serving size is huge. I was not able to finish the whole bowl. Honestly, this is good for 2 people! The price is also very affordable! This is definitely a must try in Tokyo!
Awesome udon. The vegetarian options are also really good. It's our first time trying Udon and it just felt out of the world. The quantities are also big enough. Super option for brunch as well.
Great drink and udon! 5 stars!
super tasty Udon Soup which is huge...the Sushi was absolute beautiful...strongly recommend
I ordered udon hot soup with eggs and extra for fried shrimp with japanese raddish. The portion is good for me and you can do extra portion without extra charge but as the manner we need to complete it if we do that so for me i do the normal size is perfect.

Very good udon. Enormously huge plates make you feel really intimidated. But, in fact, servings are pretty ordinary sized. High quality udon. Delicious, rich flavoured toppings. Rich plum wine is exceptional. Extra bonus works late/early hours.
Good flavor with many different options. Portions a little smaller than I’d like. I got the fish roe cold udon without any soup which was refreshing. Went through it within 5mins and was wishing there was more noodle quantity.
Love it! Famous udon place in Roppongi even with the locals. There can be a queue during peak times but it moves pretty fast. Extensive menu also available in English. The place looks posh but the price is really reasonable !
One of the best places I have been to in Tokyo for a really good meal. In the time I was in Tokyo I got used to the small restaurants, long queues for a table, and 90 min time limits. Though this place did start to have people waiting for tables by peak dinner time, this restaurant is quite spacious, and I think we did end up spending more than 90 mins. One of the more fancier places I have been to, serving absolutely delicious Udon. The Udon here is hand made and served to you, and hence service does take a little time as the food is freshly prepared. Given it was the first time I was having Udon, I had no clue what to expect...But when my ginormous bowl arrived I wished I had skipped my breakfast as well! Delicious Udon and the broth was by far the best I have EVER had. If you're looking for a good meal, and want to try the local food... Do try. They have menus in English as well and their staff are well versed in English!
Good udon, a very large portion and tasty food. Also the worst mojito that I ever had in my life. It tastes like water, because it is, there is no lime in there.
Someone told me go here and I did. Total waste of my time.
This UDON restaurant is located in Roppongi. In addition to the usual Japanese UDON noodles, there is a stylish UDON menu. I odered "Carbonara UDON",The cream and udon were amazingly matched.I have never eaten such udon before.I loved udon more and more.
Every time I visit Tokyo and I will visit this restaurant. Having a good location in Roppongi and easy access. Udon is really delicious.
A nice place for udon, sushi, sashimi. They serve nice horse sashimi too!Long queue on usual weekdays evening.
Incredible shrimp bisque with mushrooms and udon! So much flavor! Highly recommend it
Fun and yummy udon with looooads of options
Tasty Japanese food. Everything from sashimi, sushi, shabu-shabu, tempura to udon noodles. Not too pricey either.
Epic deluxe curry!!!! Wish I could have finished it but it was so huge!!!! Delicious!
Favorite udon place in Tokyo!!! I come here every month, and I love how they have a seasonal menu on top of the large list of udons on the main menu. The portions are already quite big and great value, but you can also double or even triple the amount of noodles for free. Great to bring visiting friends from overseas.
Delicious and very Japanese 😋
Highly recommend to take your foreign friend in Tokyo. In many cases, they are so glad to have the experience to come this shop. Friendly staffs, reasonable price, and traditional yummy Japanese food. They had seasonal menu and I ordered pink one!
Great service, chewy udon, plenty to choose from so took awhile to decide. Popular even with locals, and my Japanese colleague highly recommended this shop. I had grated yam with egg yolk on cold udon with tempura, drinks - darjeeling plum wine. So yummy!!!
A bit expensive for udon, but they are tasty and you can get a larger noodle servings for free (X1.5, X2 or even X3)!
Big portions so seemingly good value, it was nice but not mind blowing
Went here on a holiday. Was seated immediately. Had one of their beef udon which was really good. Highly recommend it. Very large portions and they give you free refills up to triple. They have an english menu so they are foreigner friendly. The shop has a lot of space so I think you can bring your children with their stroller. They have some hot and cold udon.
The food was very delicious and the portions were quite large. I was surprised to see our udon come out in such comically large bowls. We also ordered some udon dumplings, which I highly recommend. This change restaurant is found in many places throughout japan but it consistently serves delicious food. This is a great place to brings friends and family.
Popped in this restaurant by accident, the food was far far beyond my expectation! It was sooo delicious! The staff was also very kind and helpful. The price was reasonable. This restaurant also provides unagi bowl, but it did not show on menu somehow. If you were a sashimi lover, It definitely worth a try! Highly recommended.
A bit pricy but they have SO MANY kinds of udons. And they open for very long hours, so if you’re looking for a little breakfast after a night out in Roppongi, this place is a perfect oasis.
Portion is huge even for a big eater and I was asked by the waiter if I wanted a free top up of udon upon ordering. There is a wide variety of how you want your udon to be prepared with - beef and egg, curry, tempura amongst other ingredients. I went with their signature dish which was #1 on their menu and it was tasty. Tempura tasted amazing - wished they served more and less noodles but it was good. I had highball for my drink and it was one of the best I tasted so far in Tokyo. Very smooth and it didn't taste diluted to me. It is easy to order here with English description for each dish.
